Ofsted 2023

We welcomed Ofsted into our school on 13th and 14th September 2023. It was a positive experience and now that we have achieved “Good” we look forward to continuing to improve and develop our school.

I would like to thank the parents who took time to speak to the inspectors, the kind words of encouragement that you also shared with the staff and the hard work of the staff and pupils. Governors were massively involved and as a team Staff and Governors have shown how wonderful our school is. However, the proof of this was ultimately the children, they were very confident and clearly explained to the inspectors what they have learnt, how their school deals with things and what is special about Chilmark School. Inspectors agreed with me that the pupils are very special and that makes our school successful as well.
