Friends of Chilmark School (FoCS)

We have an enthusiastic team of parents who organise regular fundraising events for the school, which help to raise money for:

• Music lessons for the whole school
• Pantomime each Christmas
• Subsidising school trips to enhance learning and enjoyment including the Year 5 & 6 residential that takes place every other year
• Teaching resources for the classrooms and school grounds
• New library books and facilities for our on-site library
• New computers or tablets

These fundraising events include:

• Socials for the children: film nights and discos
• Socials for the parents: bingo nights, quizzes, Mums’ Nights, Dads’ Nights
• Christmas Market
• Chilmark Church Fete
• Camping weekend
• Sports Day barbecue and Pimms refreshments
• Cake and ice cream sales to name a few!
