-
FairTrade - Fair Active
FairTrade - Fair Active
We are a FairActive school as we take action in our community, creating learning opportunities and increasing awareness about Fairtrade. Becoming a Fairtrade School means joining a worldwide movement – a movement where young people learn that, whatever their age, they have the power to make a difference in the world. This offers a great opportunity to look at global issues such as where our food comes from and how we are connected to people around the world. Children have learnt a range of skills, from teamwork and co-operation to persuasive writing to running a stall.

Schools For Nature
Schools For Nature
Supporting nature leads to a more sustainable world by showing its pupils the things that they can do to make a difference. We are building our pupils’ understanding of climate change and the importance of living sustainably, strengthening their connection with the world around them and considering ways in which they can take action and give our world a brighter future. This includes developing campaigns with the aim of protecting threatened wildlife like becoming a hedgehog friendly school.
