I am an engineer and have spent most of my working life in the area of patenting. I am married to Morag and we have lived in wonderful Chilmark for 8 years. We have three adult children who grew up and were educated in the UK, Germany, The Netherlands and Brazil, so we have experience of various educational systems, and their strengths and weaknesses. I also set up and led the Duke of Edinburgh's Award together with a team of around 20 teachers and parents at the European School in Munich. I have been a governor in Chilmark for around 2 years and thoroughly enjoy the role – I look forward to meeting you!
